The Kukketeswara Swamy Temple along with other small temples here were kept open during the lumareclipse on Monday. Special abhishekam was performed to the deity during the eclipse period as per the temple traditions. the devotees took holy dip in the pada gaya pushkarini. the srikalahsti temple in chittor district is the other shrine in the state which is kept oepn during the lumar eclipse.
