• 3-5 years of experience developing object-oriented software with solid understanding of Java.
• Experience with Java Application Servers (e.g. Tomcat)
• Experience with Relational Databases (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server)
• Linux systems (e.g. SUSE, Ubuntu, Red Hat)
• Believe in concepts of 100% automated testing, push-button deploys, centralized management and logging.
• Experience and knowledge in the following technologies is a plus:
• Testing Frameworks (JUnit, Selenium)
• Container tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Possess an understanding of both network and systems security
• Experience with NoSQL Databases (e.g. Azure Cosmos, Cassandra, MongoDB)
• Cloud based development: (e.g. AWS/Azure Development)
• Spring Boot and Spring Framework
• Virtualization
• Performance and scalability Java tuning
• Web application development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript)
• Agile Scrum Development
EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required; Master’s degree is a plus.
